All Referee Assignments are handled through the website GameOfficials.net. Recreational games are set up using the "Self Assign" feature in GameOfficials. Competitive games are assigned by our club assignor based on availability marked in GameOfficials and experience. If you have any issues, don't hesitate to contact our RYSC Referee Assignors for help.
NOTE: All new referees start with rec games as Assistant Referees (AR). Assignments for Center Referee (CR) and Comp games are only available following review and approval by the RYSC referee coach and assignors.
In addition to setting up a Game Officials account, a W9 tax form must be on file with the club to be paid. Please complete visit our Referee Pay page for instructions on submitting a W-9 and to learn how much the club pays per game.
Once you have completed your certification process (click here for information on how to become certified) you will need to create a Game Officials account.
Recreational games are "Self Assign" in Game Officials. Download the instructions on how to see available games and request games that fit your schedule by clicking here . Please note: the RYSC Assignors review these requests and may adjust the assignments to best fit experience and skill levels.
Competitive level games are assigned by our Assignors. To get these games, mark the dates and times you are available in Game Officials to let us know when you are available. Review the "Comp Availability" Document by clicking here for instructions.
In GameOfficials, you need to be sure and set up your "My Info" section so you can be contacted by Assignors and your fellow referees. You also need to set up your My Payments section so that payments can be sent to you. Instructions can be found below.
