The Jo Meza & Roseville Youth Sports Coalition Scholarship are available to graduating high school students who have participated in our Club for at least three seasons prior to graduation. This participation can be as a player at the recreation or select level, as a licensed referee, or as a coach.
Each year the Roseville Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) invites graduating seniors to apply for our $1,000.00 scholarship awards. Students who have participated in RYSC soccer for at least three years and meet other academic requirements are eligible to submit their applications. Along with the application, the students must include an essay that covers how playing soccer has impacted their lives growing up. The RYSC Scholarship committee reviews the applications and collectively the winners are chosen.
Students from the Roseville Joint Unified High School District (RJUHSD) are invited to apply. The Club awards a $1000.00 scholarship to a student from each of the following high schools: Woodcreek, Roseville, and Oakmont.
The Club also awards another $1,000.00 scholarship to the highest scoring student from Antelope or Granite Bay. And in 2014, the Club voted to expand the program by inviting At Large schools to participate as well.
The At Large schools are defined as schools outside the RJUHSD, including private campuses and students who are home schooled.
The RYSC Scholarship Committee would like to congratulate the following award winners. They would also like to wish all of the graduating students the best of luck as they enter the next phase of their young lives.
