Coaches Corner

The exact procedure for managing game cards and reporting scores varies by age group. Please follow the specific instructions for your team below:

U6 - U8 Teams

• Game Cards: No game cards are required for this age group.
• Score Reporting: On game day, both the home and away coaches will receive an email from TeamSideline with a score confirmation link.
• IMPORTANT: Scores are not considered final until BOTH coaches have confirmed the score through the link.

U9 - U14 Teams

• Home Coach: You are responsible for printing the official game card (link below) and providing it to the referee before the match.
• Score Reporting: After the game, both home and away coaches will receive an email from TeamSideline with a score confirmation link.
• IMPORTANT: Scores are not considered final until BOTH coaches have confirmed the score through the link.

U15 and Older Teams

• Home Coach: You are responsible for printing the game card from your GotSport account and giving it to the referee. After the game, you must enter the final score into GotSport.
• Away Coach: Your primary responsibility is to verify the score with the home coach and referee after the game.

If you are unsure about any part of this process, please contact your age-appropriate Director of Coaching for guidance.

This feedback form is to be used by RSC Coaches and club members. Please do not complain about minor offenses such as throw-in calls or off-side calls - this is for major player safety concerns or constructive feedback use to improve our referee pool.  

Please also feel free to use this form to report positive encouragement for a job well done by game officials. 

Pre-Season & Coach Preparation

• Late June / Early July: Complete all coach compliance requirements.
• Early-Mid July: Sign up for team practice slots.
• Saturday, July 26: Attend the mandatory Coach Kickoff meeting.
• August 11: Team practices may begin if coach receives notification of clearance.

Games 1- 5

• August 18: Games 1 - 5 schedule released
• August 23: Game 1 (Season Opener)
• August 30: No Games (Labor Day Weekend)
• September 6 - 27 : Games 2 - 5

Mid-Season & Special Events

• October 4: At the Break Tournament (no regular season games; reseeding)
• October 7: Games 6 - 10 schedule released
• October 11 - November 8: Games 6 - 10

Schedules for games 1-6 will be released by Tuesday, October 7th. This second release occurs after the mid-season break to allow for team reseeding.
