Pre-Season & Coach Preparation

• Late June / Early July: Complete all coach compliance requirements.
• Early-Mid July: Sign up for team practice slots.
• Friday, July 26: Attend the mandatory Coach Kickoff meeting.
• Mid-August: Team practices may begin.

Game Schedule

• August 23: Game 1 (Season Opener)
• August 30: No Games (Labor Day Weekend)
• September 6 - 27 : Games 2 - 5

Mid-Season & Special Events

• October 4: At the Break Tournament
• October 11 - November 8: Games 6 - 10

To prepare for the upcoming season, all coaches must complete the following mandatory compliance requirements. Detailed step-by-step instructions for each item can be found on the compliance guide.

• Review the Adverse Eligibility List
• Complete SafeSport Training
• Submit a Background Check
• Upload Your Photo in GotSport
• Complete Livescan Fingerprinting

Live Scan Fingerprinting Opportunity: We will offer on-site Live Scan fingerprinting at the Coach Kickoff on Friday, July 26th. If you have not previously been fingerprinted through our club, you must complete this step at the event. Please bring a valid form of ID.

Join us for our Annual Coach Kickoff, a fun and informative event to prepare you for a fantastic season. Get ready for on-field training, educational sessions, exciting giveaways, and equipment pickup.

• Date: Saturday, July 26th
• Time: Staggered arrival times from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM (see schedule below)

Event Schedule by Age Group:Please arrive and depart based on the age group(s) you coach.

• 4v4 Coaches (U6-U8): 9:00 AM - 11:15 AM
• 7v7 Coaches: 10:15 AM - 12:30 PM
• 9v9 & 11v11 Coaches: 11:30 AM - 1:45 PM

Note for Coaches of Multiple Teams: If you coach more than one format (e.g., 7v7 and 9v9), we recommend you attend each relevant session to receive the specific on-field training. If you can only attend one, please choose the session for the format you are less familiar with.

What You'll Receive:

• 3 game day balls
• Practice t-shirts for every player
• PUGG goals (for U6-U8 coaches only)

Important: For anyone needing to complete their fingerprinting, a Live Scan service will be available on-site.

 Here's how to view your upcoming team roster in Playmetrics:

1. From your Coach profile, select the "Teams" tab.
2. Click on "Future Teams" to see your team for the upcoming season.
3. Select the "Roster" tab, and then click on "Assignments" to see all players currently placed on your team.

We are still finalizing rosters, so you will see players added over the next few weeks. Families will be officially notified of their team placement in mid-to-late July, at which point the full team will be visible to them in their accounts.

Important: You may notice some players listed under the main 'Roster' tab who are not yet under 'Assignments.' Please be aware that these players are confirmed for your team and are counted in your roster total.

 Sign-ups will open in early to mid-July. Here’s what you need to know:

• How to Sign Up: We will use a Google Doc to manage all practice time slots.
• Available Practice Times:
  • Days: Monday - Friday
  • Time Blocks: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM and 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
• Scheduling Rules:
  • You may select up to two practice slots per team.
  • Holding one or two practices per week is at the discretion of the head coach.
• Sign-Up Priority:
  • To ensure a smooth process, sign-ups will open in phases. Access will be granted first to coaches of 3+ teams, followed by coaches of 2 teams, and finally to all coaches of single teams.

Our scheduler will send a separate communication with the exact date and time the sign-up sheet will go live for each group. Please watch for that email.

U6-U14 Game Schedule Release Dates

We are working diligently to finalize the game schedules. Here are the key dates for when you can expect them to be published:

• Games 1-5: Schedules will be released by Monday, August 18th.
  • A note on timing: We coordinate with numerous surrounding clubs to build the schedule. This release date is the earliest we can publish a finalized schedule, and we appreciate your flexibility and patience.
• Games 6-10: Schedules will be released by Tuesday, October 7th.
  • This second release occurs after the mid-season break to allow for team reseeding.

Super Rec Division Schedule

The game schedule for our Super Rec teams is created in conjunction with the NorCal calendar. We are currently waiting for details regarding the official seeding weekend. As soon as we have this information from the league, we will announce the schedule. Thank you for your understanding.

The exact procedure for managing game cards and reporting scores varies by age group. Please follow the specific instructions for your team below:

U6 - U8 Teams

• Game Cards: No game cards are required for this age group.
• Score Reporting: On game day, both the home and away coaches will receive an email from TeamSideline with a score confirmation link.
• IMPORTANT: Scores are not considered final until BOTH coaches have confirmed the score through the link.

U9 - U14 Teams

• Home Coach: You are responsible for printing the official game card (link below) and providing it to the referee before the match.
• Score Reporting: After the game, both home and away coaches will receive an email from TeamSideline with a score confirmation link.
• IMPORTANT: Scores are not considered final until BOTH coaches have confirmed the score through the link.

U15 and Older Teams

• Home Coach: You are responsible for printing the game card from your GotSport account and giving it to the referee. After the game, you must enter the final score into GotSport.
• Away Coach: Your primary responsibility is to verify the score with the home coach and referee after the game.
